Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Joseph is responsible for DocuSys’ engineering, regulatory, quality assurance, product management, implementation and support organizations.
Prior to joining DocuSys, Joseph was Senior Vice President of the Product Solution Group at Eclipsys Corporation. In addition to holding a Doctorate in Pharmacy, he has nearly 20 years of diverse upper management experience in the healthcare industry, including sales, marketing, strategic planning, business development, product management and organizational development.
Joseph also spent seven years at Cerner Corporation, where he held various global management positions, including: Director, Global Operations and Business Development and Managing Director, Pharmacy/Medication Safety Enterprise. He also served as a member of the Canada ePrescribing (CeRx) Standards Group, Canada Health Infoway during 2004 and 2005. Additionally, he held sales positions with McKesson Provider Technologies and Mediware Information Systems. He began his career as an Ambulatory Care Medicine Specialist/Adjunct Professor, Clinical Pharmacy at the VA Medical Center in San Diego, California.
Joseph holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific, School of Pharmacy, Stockton, California, and a post-graduate residency in Clinical Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
